Awaken the Revolutionary Within!
Introducing my newest painting: Goddess of Revolution! Vulnerability moment. Between chronic fatigue and Bipolar II diagnoses, 2022 was tremendously difficult for me. I didn’t have the creative energy to paint much and I lacked the enthusiasm I once had to live into my calling with the Tehom Center. The past month, though, I feel like I’ve returned to myself. I have energy. I’m creating. And, most importantly, I’m living into my deep calling to help awaken the revolutionary within each woman. That’s what the Goddess of Revolution is all about; she awakens, inspires, and empowers the revolutionary within us.
Here are three ways the Goddess of Revolution calls YOU to awaken the revolutionary within:
Honor your intuition. Deep down, you know your calling and the unique gifts you have to help make the world a better and more just place. Trust this knowing.
Let beauty surround you. Too often in activist circles, we view the beauty of art or the natural world as periphery, decorative, or unnecessary. But it’s not. All humanity deserves to be inspired by their surroundings, awestruck by beauty. So, take a walk in nature or visit a museum so that beauty can surround you.
Surround yourself with revolutionaries. Find mentors, both younger and older, who are living revolutionary lives in the world. Invite their work to empower you. We don’t walk these justice roads alone, so create a revolutionary community in person and online.
